Jade Oolong Tea
Tasting Nodes: Vegetal, Jasmine, Velvety, Earthy
Jade Oolong is considered to be between Green and Oolong tea. This is because the processing results to a lightly fermented tea that has been rolled. This type of tea is well known for its intense floral scent. The harvest we present to you is from the Fall as it gives off a floral, green bean, velvety and slightly sweetened taste at the end. The farm in Minjian rests on red soil which is richer in minerals and contributes to the unique tastes found within this tea.
Nantou County is located in the center of Taiwan and is the largest Tea growing and production region in the country. The amount of tea exported from this region is estimated to roughly be over 12,000 tons per year and is said to represent over two-thirds of the entire tea output in Taiwan.
