Four Seasons Green Oolong Tea
Tasting Nodes: Gardenia, Green Bean, Lychee, Sweet
Our Four Seasons Green Oolong is a spin off from the classic Taiwanese version. This one is grown on Xu Shan and more lightly oxidized than its original sibling. The process creates a lighter, more floral, and silky oolong. We call this a Green Oolong as it is technically and Oolong tea that is greener like its Green Tea counterpart. This tea is floral and vegetal in the beginning while rounding out to fruitier and sweeter nodes later on.
Nantou County is located in the center of Taiwan and is the largest Tea growing and production region in the country. The amount of tea exported from this region is estimated to roughly be over 12,000 tons per year and is said to represent over two-thirds of the entire tea output in Taiwan.
