Ruby #18 Black Tea
Flavors: Roasted Nuts, Caramel, Floral, Earthy, Honey
Developed in 1999, Ruby 18 has become one of the more appreciated teas grown in Sun Moon Lake. Its origins are derived from combining wild Taiwanese tea plants with a strand found in Myanmar. The tea is incredibly fragrant with hints of cinnamon and mint. One of the most sought out teas from the area, we recommend trying this first on its own before choosing other additives such as ginger or honey.
Nantou County is located in the center of Taiwan and is the largest Tea growing and production region in the country. The amount of tea exported from this region is estimated to roughly be over 12,000 tons per year and is said to represent over two-thirds of the entire tea output in Taiwan.
