Milk Oolong Tea
Tasting Nodes: Milky, Peas, Gardenia, Brown Sugar
This particular type of oolong was created during 1981 and dubbed Taiwan Tea #12 by TRES (Taiwan Tea Research Extension Station). Known for its milky and floral flavors, ours has a natural milk flavor to it without any additives during production. This is grown on red soil to give the tea a bit of vegetal complexity combined with its smooth texture. We recommend pairing this with some cookies or cake when eating dessert!
Nantou County is located in the center of Taiwan and is the largest Tea growing and production region in the country. The amount of tea exported from this region is estimated to roughly be over 12,000 tons per year and is said to represent over two-thirds of the entire tea output in Taiwan.
